Johnson Jackson has added attorney Beatriz Miranda to its team.
Miranda, a graduate of the University of Florida Levin College of Law, will work with public and private employers on all matters related to labor and employment law. Most recently, she served as a law clerk for the Florida Fourth District Court of Appeal in West Palm Beach.
“The work we’re doing here is so interesting,” Miranda said of the firm. “It’s really exciting to work with such talented attorneys and serve clients in different industries.”
In the past, Miranda worked as a judicial extern in the U.S. Middle District Court of Florida and the Florida Second District Court of Appeal. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Bachelor of Science in Family, Youth, and Community Services from the University of Florida. Miranda was also recognized by the school as an Outstanding Female Leader and inducted into the UF Hall of Fame.
Erin Jackson, Johnson Jackson Founding Partner and Shareholder, said, “We are thrilled to have Beatriz join our team. Her ability to jump right into cases, to identify key issues, and to strategize in defending our clients is outstanding.”
Johnson Jackson was formed by Jackson and Founding Partner, Kevin Johnson, in 2017. It has already received numerous accolades, including selection as a U.S. News and World Report 2018 “Best Law Firm” and being named a Tampa Bay Business Journal 2018 “Best Place to Work.”
“It’s the work culture here,” said Miranda. “Just from meeting the partners at different events before I joined the firm, I got the feeling that this is a good work environment, and now I’m so happy to be part of the team.”
