Colby Ellis Joins Johnson Jackson's Team of Attorneys

Johnson Jackson recently added Colby Ellis to its team of attorneys. 

Colby earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Political Science and History summa cum laude from Florida State University, and his Juris Doctor degree cum laude from the University of Florida Levin College of Law.  Colby worked with the firm last summer as its first summer associate.  Now that he has re-joined the firm on a full-time basis, he will work with clients across various industries in both the public and private sectors

During his time in law school, Colby served as President of the Student Bar Association and Executive Articles Editor of the Florida Journal of Law and Public Policy.  He also worked as a judicial extern for the Honorable Mark E. Walker of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Florida.

In his role with Johnson Jackson, Colby will work with clients in management on all matters, including but not limited to wage and hour disputes, retaliation and discrimination claims, and non-compete issues.  Colby will help to see clients through the litigation process and provide counsel on how to comply with state and federal regulations, among other facets.
